I am a Dog grooming and pet grooming specialist. Dog hydrobath for a relaxing massaging hydro bath. Dog wash uses clean water for each dog. I have been a Dog clipper for over 30 years.

Poodle clipping is one of my specialties. I have successfully shown standard poodles for over 20 years.There are many ways to style a poodle, from the basic face feet and tail and short body to the longer scissored fluffy styles. I will be albe to find one to suit you and your dog.
I spent many years in the ANKC judges training program learning about the various brreds and have my group seven judges license. I am able to provide other specialty breed clips.
Longer styles and character trimming requires the use of scissors and lots of patience. Scissoring takes a longer time to successful create that special look and is charged accordingly. The art of scissoring is acquired over years of practice.
Correctly clipping and bathing your dog is not a 5 minute job. I like to have all my clients arrive by 9am and get settled before the grooming session begins. All dogs have their toenails trimmed and ears plucked and cleaned before their coat is clipped.
The first clip removes excess hair to get the dog ready for the bath. Once freshly bathed your pet is towelled dried. Next is the fluff drying with a turbo dryer, to straighten the coat in preparation for scissoring.
I do not usually clip one dog from start to finish. All pre work is done and then I bath and dry them in pairs. Once everyone is nice and clean I start the finishing work. I find that the dogs cope with the grooming session and are much happier if they are not on the grooming table for any great length of time. They are happy to watch each other getting trimmed and many even have a nap.
